Glamour of Italian Fashion

A touch of Italy went to London last night as the Victoria & Albert Museum opened the doors of its new exhibition: The Glamour of Italian Fashion 1945-2014.

Nicholas Coleridge, trustee of the V&A and president of Condé Nast International, British Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman, Vogue Italia editor Franca Sozzani and V&A director Martin Roth co-hosted the evening, which saw guests such as Valentino Garavani, Domenico Dolce, Stefano Gabbana, Tom Ford, Sarah Burton and Christopher Kane, among the designers.

Poppy Delevingne also attended the event and opted for an Emilio Pucci Pre Fall 2014 printed gown,  Miroslava Duma selected a green Valentino Spring 2014 guipure-lace gown with colourful embroidery, Naomi Campbell donned a black and red Roberto Cavalli Fall 2014 fringed dress and Rita Ora wore a white Roberto Cavalli Fall 2014 fringed leather dress accented with studded detailing and a fur collar.

Una parte de Italia se trasladó anoche a Londres debido a la inauguración de la muestra “The Glamour of Italian Fashion” en el museo Victoria & Albert.

Nicholas Coleridge, fideicomisario del museo V&A y presidente de Condé Nast Internacional; la editora de la edición británica de Vogue, Alexandra Shulman; la editora de Vogue Italia, Franca Sozzani y el director del V&A, Martin Roth; fueron los anfitriones del evento al que asistieron los diseñadores Valentino Garavani, Domenico Dolce, Stefano Gabbana, Tom Ford, Sarah Burton y Christopher Kane, entre otros.

Poppy Delevingne se encontraba entre las asistentes al evento enfundada en un vestido estampado de Emilio Pucci Pre Fall 2014, Miroslava Duma optó por un vestido de encaje verde con bordados multicolor de Valentino Primavera 2014, Naomi Campbell escogió un vestido de flecos negro y rojo de la colección de Otoño 2014 de Roberto Cavalli y Rita Ora también se decantaba por un vestido de esta colección, en su caso, un vestido blanco de flecos con tachuelas y aplicaciones.

The exhibition opens its doors this Saturday, charting  the transformation of Italy’s style industry from post-World War II until the present day.

La exposición abrirá sus puertas el próximo sábado y muestra la transformación de la industria de la moda en Italia desde el final de la Segunda Guerra Mundial hasta la actualidad.

So thanks Jeremy for clearing up the confusion. So first things first. I haven't suddenly switched to the "dark side " and gone "AWOL" on copyright. In fact, I've met Laurence" Loz Kaye and we both survived the experience. I'm &qra&;Louuietquot; and he's "Loz" (Jeremy: do we need a Trade Mark Co-Existence Agreement?).2011 is definitely going to be action-packed on the copyright front.
